Seconda Cronaca is a monthly magazine based in Pisa that looks for the stories that newspapers don’t have time to tell. Each issue deals with a different theme. The magazine’s sponsors had requested a way to advertise to readers by grasping their interests while not interfering with main content. Sailho worked with Sandro Noto (journalist) and Daniele Fadda (art director) from Seconda Cronaca to create a series of illustrations to bridge the interests of the magazine’s readers and the promotional needs from the client.
The result, illustrated stories printed in unlikely, everyday places (placemats, wine labels, the back of a cinema ticket, on a pencil) aims to tell journalistic stories through these new mediums.
